A seminar on Intellectual Property Rights with Focus on Patentswas conducted on 8th February 2020. Objective of the seminar was to create an awareness about IPRs, especially patents among faculty members of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), to guide researchers/inventors in respect of patenting their inventions and to provide insight into practical applications of IP such as patent drafting, patentability search and freedom to operate search, validity/ invalidity search, and evidence of use analysis.

This seminar focussed on:

•  Procedure of patent writing
•  Process of patent filing
