The Institute has the Chairperson, Board of Governors, Director, Dean (Academic), Dean (Administration) & Development), Chairpersons for each Academic Programme, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Library & Information Officer, Chief System Manager, Chief Manager (Infrastructure), who carry out the assigned functions of the Institute. Decisions are communicated to the public by announcements, circulars, notifications, advertisements and through website. The authority to vet decisions is the Director, followed by Chairperson, Board of Governors. The Institute takes decision regarding academic matters, administrative matters, students’ affairs, staff and faculty affairs, finance, facilities of the Institute and infrastructure. |

SCHOLARSHIPS AT IIMK IIMK Merit Scholarship: IIMK Merit Scholarship is awarded to PGP-I and PGP-II students on the basis of their performance during one academic year, as determined by their CGPA. The number of scholarships awarded is in the ratio of one scholarship for every 20 students in the first and second year. The scholarship amount is Rs.25,000. IIMK Need Based Financial Assistance: The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is based on annual total parental income for the previous financial year. The maximum income limit is Rs.2,00,000. The scholarship will be as follows: Central Sector Scholarship for SC Students: Offered by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, based on annual parental income for the previous financial year. The maximum income limit is Rs.4,50,000. The maximum number of scholarship allotted to IIM Kozhikode is 12. Tuition fee, other non-refundable charges, lodging & boarding charges, books & stationery charges, cost of IT equipments for first year are reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Central Sector Scholarship for ST Students: Offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, based on annual parental income for the previous financial year. The maximum income limit is Rs.4,50,000. The maximum number of scholarship allotted to IIM Kozhikode is 5. Tuition fee, other non-refundable charges, lodging & boarding charges, books & stationery charges, cost of IT equipments for first year are reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, to the students belonging to minority communities. The maximum limit of income for the previous financial year is Rs.2,50,000. Full fee is reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Rajarshee Sahu Maharaj Scholarship: Offered by Government of Maharashtra to the students belonging to Maharashtra. The maximum parental income for the previous financial year is Rs.2,00,000. Full fee is reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Freeship: Offered by the Government of Maharashtra to SC students belonging to Maharashtra. The maximum parental income for the previous financial year is Rs.2,00,000. Full fee is reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Post-Metric Scholarship: Offered by the Government of Kerala to SC students belonging to Kerala. The maximum parental income for the previous financial year is Rs.2,00,000. Full fee is reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Pratibha Scholarship: Offered by Government of Andhra Pradesh to the students belonging to Andhra Pradesh. The maximum annual parental income for applying for this scholarship is Rs.1,00,000. The scholarship amount is Rs.20,000. NTPC Scholarship: Offered by NTPC to the students belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped categories. Selection is done by NTPC from the applications submitted. The scholarship amount is Rs.1,500 per month for two years. NHFDC Scholarship: Offered by National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation to physically challenged students. The scholarship amount ranges upto Rs.2,50,000 depending upon course fee, maintenance allowance and books & stationary allowance. Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship: Offered by Sir Ratan Tata Trust. The criteria for selection for the award of Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship are: (a) Academically outstanding with consistent academic record, (b) Should be in the top 15% of the batch, (c) Should not have been awarded a full scholarship covering tuition and related fees from other organizations, (d) Should not be receiving stipend or any other financial assistance, and (e) Should not have repeated any course. A maximum of five students will be awarded this scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs.1,00,000. The scholarship amount is Rs.1,00,000. SGGSC Talent Scholarship: Offered by the Societe Generale Global Solution Centre Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore to 2 / 3 students from the first year. Primary selection is done from the lowest income group. The applicants will have to submit a write up about themselves and attend a personal interview for final selection. Full fee is reimbursed under this scholarship scheme. Aditya Birla Group Scholarship: Offered by the Aditya Birla Group. This is awarded to 1 / 2 academically outstanding students from the first year. Selection is done by the Aditya Birla Group through personal interview conducted for the applicants. To continue this scholarship in the second year, the selected students have to be among the top 25 as per the CGPA for the first year. The scholarship amount is Rs.1,75,000 per year. OPJEMS Scholarship: Offered by the OP Jindal Group to 1 / 2 students. Selection is done by OP Jindal Group through written test and personal interview conducted for the applicants.
