Faculty Enrichment Programme on Moodle “Changing Platforms: Transitioning to Digital Teaching"
The IQAC of our College introduced an online training programme exclusively for our teachers on designing and conducting MOOCs through our MOODLE platform. It was an opportunity for the beginners and also for those who have already attended the training in our College to refresh their knowledge.
Phase 1 - 11 May 2020 to 17 May 2020, Number of participants: 64
Phase II – 27 May 2020 to 2 June 2020, Number of Participants: 33

Department of Computer Science & IQAC, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur jointly organized one-week Faculty Enrichment Programme on Moodle Changing Platforms: Transitioning to Digital Teaching for the faculties from other colleges in Kerala. The course was conducted in Google Classroom. E-content for the training was prepared and uploaded in the course. Faculties from other colleges joined the classroom. Online hands-on sessions were provided each day to make the training programme more effective in the Moodle cloud. E-certificates were distributed to the participants who had successfully completed the course.

Webinars
The Department of Computer Science conducted a webinar which was held on 15th May 2020 and 22nd May 2020 on “Create, Host & Schedule a Webinar”. The platform used was Cisco Webex. The session covered details on how to schedule a webinar, invite participants, present contents, being the host of the webinar and use polling options to know the feedback of the users. There were 57 participants for the seminar. The recorded versions of webinar were uploaded in youtube and google drive and the link was shared among all the participants.
