Research Centre Outcome

7. PROGRAMME OUTCOME
    M. A ENGLISH
•         A comprehensive knowledge of literature to enhance student capabilities in the areas of intellectual discourses 
•         An expertise in literary history, literary theory, and rhetoric. 
•         To Inculcate high-level of proficiency in literary research and in the synthesis of research. 
•         To enhance critical and analytical skills in the interpretation and evaluation of literary texts. 
•         structuring a command of written academic English, including the abilities to a) organize and present material in a cogent fashion, b) formulate and defend original arguments, c) employ effectively the language of their discipline and d) write under time constraints

   BA ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

• To empower the students in the use of English language as a tool of global communication
• To enable the students to use the English language in all its vibrant hues.
• To develop a critical acumen in the students on literary works
• A complete awareness of the nuances of English language through an extensive study of its literature 

BA FUNCTIONAL ENGLISH

•         A vocational branch of the course of English Language and Literature in the areas of print and electronic media as well as visual and media communication
•         Contemporary and practical use of English language in areas of multicultural communication thereby broadening the scope of English language
•         A complete and comprehensive study is enabled through a socially committed implementation of the nuances of English language like the areas of translation study, cultural study and linguistics
