Research Centre Outcome
• To produce quality research and output that would contribute to the growth and positive transformation of literature in particular and an understanding of language in general.
• To provide academic and infrastructural support for scholars
• To promote research culture among the student and teacher fraternity
• To raise the department to a position of high merit within the academia
• To create a platform for scholars to commune and engage in a shared academic experience
• To collaborate with national and international agencies in an attempt to aid researches undertaken
• To build a pool of resource persons capable of orienting and leading prospective scholars on the path of academic and professional growth
RESEARCH POLICY
1.The scholars need to get prior consent from the research supervisor regarding the topic of research.
2.The research topic as well as methodology and techniques should not violate the ethical values of the institution and nation.
3. All publications from the centre should undergo a strict plagiarism test.
4. Regular progress evaluation of the research scholars of the centre
a. Scholars should submit the progress of their in every six months before the external research Admission committee
b. Monthly presentation before the research committee of the department.
5. Analytical facilities in the Research centre will be extended to the researchers from other institutes on payment of analytical charges.
6. Students from other college will be allowed to carry out their PG projects under the supervision of faculty members from the centre. They have to remit a fee towards the utilisation of facilities of the centre.
